We were invited for a wonderful evening at the beach near Orbetello in Toscana.
It was a fun evening with Stefania, Fabio, Jasper, Anaïs, Gabriela and lots of good wine and delicious seafood! Grazie mille !


As aperitivo we ate a local specialty: smoked fish from the lagoon with fresh parsley, and as antipasto cooked mussels with fresh parsley and lemon juice. Delicious!

Fabio teached us how to cook Fritto misto di pesce: mixed seafood fritters.

We helped him to peel about 2 kg of shrimps :-). We left on the tails since it looks much nicer and is easier to eat. 


Next to shrimps we fried fresh squid and different sorts of small fishes that we first coated with flour and then fried in hot oil.

After frying we immediately put on salt and fresh lemon juice. They were crispy & delicious!
